Digital pedography
The digital pedography is a measurement of the foot pressure. This procedure is useful if the soles develop(ed) bedsores, in order to locate them precisely. Digital pedography enables calculation of the foot pressure per square centimetre, serving as a fundamental examination for making shoe inserts (including sensorimotor insoles), for example.
However, the digital pedography is often carried out together with the spine measurement procedure in order to find out whether a spinal deformity or a pelvic skew causes a foot pressure disorder. In my pain therapy clinic it is considered, together with the digital spine measurement, a basic medical examination.
